Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet mess in one time and without the need to switch devices. They can also reduce space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual gets you up and running in no time with a full dust bag, water tank and a hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to swiftly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a range of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
For instance, you can ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only minor issue is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However, just a glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading and what obstacles it's run into or avoided.
The docking station comes with an LCD display that indicates the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and rinsing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank in a controlled manner by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time and the mop is able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, while the vacuum is able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before having to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you look at every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. In contrast to the model of last year this one has two agitators in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may miss.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It can then change its path automatically and clean around them without stumbling.

It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is striking and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning, a mop button that doubles as a child lock, and a home-button to send the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml tank of water. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.
The only downside I've found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if it's required) but it's a challenge to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can set up and manage these using the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor the battery's life. You'll need to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for customized and efficient cleaning while saving you time.
The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the most effective alternatives available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair dust, crumbs and any other dry messes. It also has a high-quality mop that leaves floors sparkling clean, even without a wet pad. The X40 is also extremely quiet in operation with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.
Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brushes, which allows it to get into difficult-to-access corners and clean curved furniture like table and chairs' legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile which makes it an ideal choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush tilts automatically down when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that enables the X40 to prevent damage to floors from excessive back-and forth movements.
Unlike some other robots that only focus on one thing, the X40 is capable of performing both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or in a series. It can also be programmed to avoid areas with carpets and mop only hard floors or reverse the process. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is user-friendly and user-friendly and the X40's intelligent features are a breeze to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also track its progress, and alert you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has many convenient features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. affordable robot vacuum docking station will automatically empty the dustbin, and clean mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect when the mop pad is overflowing and alert you before it overflows, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive on the market, but it packs in many extra features that set it apart. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirty spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the growth of odours and mould in storage, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a system we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and it could be a useful method of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There's an impressive amount of options available, including the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process, and there are a lot of features that other robots do not have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of using the manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at around 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and it is sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them extend up to 2mm below the baseboards.
